While I was in London I paid a visit to Urban Decay where I decided to pick up the All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray after hearing amazing things about it online. I have to say though, I've been really disappointed with it.

Let's start at the beginning - the packaging. I really like the colours and the simplicity of the design, however I even dislike the material of the bottle. It's the sort of sticky plastic which gets dirty really quickly. And obviously, since it's a setting spray I use it after touching a bunch of other makeup, meaning the bottle just gets really grubby really quickly. Having said that the gift bags that Urban Decay sell their products in are super cute, especially if you're buying something as a gift for someone else.

The box and the bottle of the spray clearly state the instructions: "mist face 2-4 times in an "X"and "T" formation" as well as claiming what the product should do: stop the makeup from melting, cracking, fading or setting into fine line. So, how much do I agree with this statement? Not very much at all. I haven't seen a difference since using the spray; at the end of a school day my makeup still sets into fine lines and cracks/cakes up in certain areas, for example around my nose. The spray cost me £22 and to be honest, I'm gutted that I didn't buy the Naked Illuminated instead!

I'm don't want to the person who puts you off buying this product because I know a lot of other people have had a huge success with it! Especially if you're after a setting spray particularly to keep oily skin at bay as Urban Decay do have a spray particularly for that.

I will continue to use this product, especially in the summer when it's much warmer and if I do notice anything and begin to like it I will write an update straight away. If you've tried the spray and it worked for you then please tell me your secrets! I hope this post was in some way helpful.

Reading and watching other people's monthly favourites is one of my favourite so it's surprising that I've never written one myself. But, of course, there's a first time for everything. I haven't found that many favourites this month and I'm not sure it's because nothing else can compare to the things that I have liked, or if I genuinely just haven't (re)discovered anything and fallen in love with it. Having said that I do still have a few things that I've been really enjoying so without further ado, let's get into the post.
My first favourite this month is the khaki bomber jacket in the image above. I've seen a lot of bomber jackets across social media and in multiple shops over the past few weeks and the more I saw them the more I couldn't resist. Since my favourite colour is khaki at the moment that's the colour I decided the get, especially as the model wearing the coat really suited it and had blonde hair. Since I ordered the coat online I decided to order one from Newlook for £35 as I trust the quality of Newlook and it would have been easy enough to return if I decided that I didn't like it. Although I don't think £35 is an unreasonable amount of money to pay for a coat that I will wear a lot over the spring and summe I do know that Boohoo.com have a lot of cheaper alternatives if you're willing to take the chance.

It's funny how I never used to wear eyeshadow but now I can't imagine not wearing it. So obviously, that means that I want it to last all day, and what better way to make that happen than by using a primer? I remember receiving four, free sample Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potions when I got my Naked 3 palette. Despite them only being sample there's loads of product in each sachet so although I haven't made any plans to purchase a full sized one yet, I definitely will be when I run out!

One of my New Year's resolutions was to develop a decent skincare routine. Since January I picked up a small version of the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and I love it so much! It's the most amazing makeup remover I have ever used and because it's so good at removing all my makeup it means my pores aren't clogged equalling no spots! It's also super cheap so that's a bonus!

While trying different skin care products I've also been battling with my blackheads. As disgusting as they are everybody has them and everybody is desperate to get rid of them. I often scroll through the app "Wish" - probably when I'm procrastinating. One of the things I always see on there are these black blackhead strips. Before I ordered them I had no idea that the actual strips were of a thick liquid formula that you paste onto your skin yourself. It's much more practical as everyone's nose and face shape are different. And of course they work, else they wouldn't be in my favourites.

My next favourite is a makeup item and it's the ABH Dipbrow Pomade in the shade Medium Brown. I don't believe that this is the first time I have mentioned this little jar of wonder on my blog and it definitely won't be the last. I know I'm a little late on the bandwagon, but I was always a little sceptical about getting it in the first place as I thought it was going to be super expensive, but actually it was £15, which isn't too bad at all, especially when you consider how high quality it is and how long it will last.

Every day since Christmas I have worn the Britney Spears Fantasy perfume and it is beautiful! However, over the past few weeks I decided to switch to using a perfume from the Body Shop called Japanese Cherry Blossom Eau De Toilette. It's such a pretty, floral scent and makes me feel so much better when I wear it.

My final favourite is this beautiful 'Rebel Purse'. Originally I bought it from Topshop, but it is from the brand Skinny Dip and while I was in London I went into Skinny Dip and also saw the purse in there. As well as the black and white pattern going beautifully with the yellow, the black pompom also makes it that little bit better!

I hope you enjoyed this post. Hopefully I'll be doing more monthly favourites in the future!
