VALENTINE'S HAIR, MAKEUP & OUTFIT

This valentine's post is going to be a hair, makeup and outfit idea for a casual date where, of course, you still want to look like you've put the effort in without going over the top.

For the outfit I decided to go quite casual by pairing a black, tight top (from Primark) with a pair of ripped, Jamie jeans (from Topshop). To vamp the look up I decided to wear a pair of black heals (from Newlook) and use a cute purse (from Skinnydip/Topshop). The coat I chose (from Topshop) was navy and fairly smart looking, while still being warm and stylish.

In terms of my hair, I used my GHD Curve Creative Curl Wand on the ends of my hair before using a wide tooth comb to gently backcomb the curls to help separate them and create more volume. To achieve even more volume I sprayed dry shampoo into the roots of my hair.

Makeup: Maxfactor Lasting Performance foundation, Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, ABH Contour Kit, Sleek contour kit (for blush), Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade, Collection Speedy Highlight, Urban Decay Naked 3 palette (Burnout all over the lid and Mugshot in the crease), Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner, Avon Super Shock mascara, NO. 7 Highshine lip crayon and ABH Dipbrow Pomade.

Happy Valentine's day!
